MyPurrfectKitty.com is the home of the Purrfect Kitty storybooks, published by Camelot Publishers LLC. Our books and activities are designed for children ages 5–10, and our forms and shopping links are directed to parents and guardians.
Please do not send us a child’s name, email address, photo, age, location, school, voice recording, or other personal information.
Information provided by grown-ups
Our newsletter, book notification, and Fan Club forms ask for a parent or guardian’s name and email. Our contact form also asks for a message. A grown-up must confirm that they are age 18 or older and choose to submit. We use those details to answer the request or send the updates the adult selected. Contacting us does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Children’s information
We do not offer child accounts, public profiles, chat, uploads, public comments, or personalized advertising. We do not intentionally ask children to provide personal information. If we learn that a child’s information has been submitted, we will remove it and stop using it. A parent may contact us to request review or deletion. A checkbox is not a system for obtaining verifiable parental consent to collect children’s information; this website does not offer such collection.
Games, coloring, and points on your device
Games run in your browser. Coloring pictures are downloaded or printed on your device and are not uploaded to us. Your points, completed activities, and sound preference may be saved in local browser storage. These settings contain no name, email, or unique account identifier. They are not sent to us and do not follow you between devices. Saved settings expire after 90 days; you can clear points on the Fan Club page or clear the site’s storage in your browser.
Hosting and basic technical information
Our web host necessarily receives requests needed to show the site and may keep security and access logs, such as IP address, browser type, time, and requested page. The form handler does not add your IP address to the email sent to our team. To limit spam on adult forms, it temporarily stores a one-way keyed network hash and an attempt count. These records expire after ten minutes and are removed during a subsequent form request. No analytics, advertising pixels, social tracking widgets, or third-party fonts are installed in this version of the site. Basic hosting logs are used for operation and security, not behavioral advertising.
Videos and links to other websites
Our short preview video is served directly by this website. Future YouTube players load only after an adult chooses to load the video. YouTube may then receive device and network information under its own privacy policy, even when its privacy-enhanced player is used. Amazon, Facebook, and any future shop checkout are separate websites; their privacy policies and terms apply when you visit them. No third-party store script is loaded in this version.
Sharing and security
Form submissions are delivered by email to the Purrfect Kitty team. Our hosting and email providers process them as necessary to operate those services. We do not sell or rent the information submitted through this website. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security of our services. HTTPS protects information in transit to our website; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Retention and your choices
Our retention policy is to remove routine contact messages within 90 days after the request is resolved, unless needed for a continuing matter or a legal obligation. We retain adult subscription details while the adult wants the selected updates; inactive lists are reviewed at least annually. Book-specific notification details are removed within 90 days after the notification is completed unless the adult separately joins another list. These are team-managed email records, not automated child profiles.
To unsubscribe, ask for a copy or correction of your submitted details, or request deletion, reply to an email from us or use our contact form. Put “Privacy request” in your message. We may need to confirm that the requester controls the email address involved, but will not ask for a child’s personal details.
